Fundraising

Our members (past scholars) regularly organise fundraising events to support the work of the Trust. Information on upcoming fundraising events will be posted on the Events page, or keep an eye on our Posts.

2020 Hike – 115km, 6 Churches, 4 Days

The three 2020 Scholars have faced having their scholarship postponed due to Covid-19. To help raise funds for the DST in supporting the 2021 Scholarship programme, Amy Redman, Libby Watts and Lucy Newport are packing their hand sanitiser and sketchbooks in a 115km hike through the Lake District from September 2nd to the 5th.

You can follow their efforts and sketches by following their Instagram.
We also very much hope that you may be able to support them with their target via their fundraising page on JustGiving.

In a challenging year, we offer heartfelt thanks to the three hikers for their efforts and thank you in advance for any support provided to them in this challenging year

2017 Scholar Lilian Tuohy Main has also been fundraising with Paintings of Lockdown, producing water colour pantings from photographs of donors lockdown workplaces.

You can see Lilians fundraising artistry on her Instagram and donate via JustGiving.
